Breakfast at Poppy Cottage

Served at any time up until 9.15am

Supporting our local economy is very important to us. Where reasonably possible our meals are prepared using local produce, which means we are buying superior quality and fresher foods. All our meat products are locally produced and our Birchover eggs really are free-range.

Preferring to eat unprocessed whole foods ourselves, we do hand bake our own bread. Home made muesli, fresh fruit salad and real Greek yoghurt are always available.

You have a choice of a Traditional Full English, Vegetarian, Continental, or Specialty Breakfast. We are happy to prepare alternative breakfasts of your choosing provided you let us know in advance.

Don’t expect to be hungry for the rest of the day.

Sample Menu

Coffee or tea, Chilled orange juice

Delicious fruit compote or fresh fruit salad and Greek yoghurt

Choice of cereals or porridge

Sausages, Bacon

Black Pudding, Mushrooms (sautéed)

Tomatoes, Beans

Eggs (scrambled, fried or poached)

Finish off with toasted home made bread and preserves
