Birchover Walks and Nine Ladies Circle
The nine ladies is one of several prehistoric stone circles in the UK and can be found on the nearby Stanton Moor. Just a few miles south of Birchover, is the gateway to the Derwent Valley World Heritage Site, Matlock. It is a former spa town alongside the River Derwent.
